Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative’s primary focus is to process customer orders and provide excellent customer service to our clients. This position requires the individual to accurately process orders in a timely manner as well as provide general office support to the business and our customers.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Chemco Products Inc. was founded in 1983 and is part of the Water Treatment Solutions Division of DuBois Chemicals.  Chemco produces high quality anti-foams, potable water products, silicone and organic defoamers, as well as other specialty water and wastewater treatment chemicals.  Located in Howell, Michigan, Chemco’s facility can produce and package products in quantities from 5-gallon pails to totes or bulk.

Main Duties:

  • Responsible for customer order processing directly from customers and Chemco employees via telephone, email and fax
  • Responsible for entering customer orders accurately and promptly into Chemco’s CRM program
  • Monitor customer orders and works closely with operations to facilitate prompt delivery
  • Generate and print invoices on a daily basis for orders shipped and as required
  • Review invoices prior to mailing/emailing to identify additional instructions
  • Mail/email verified invoices to customers
  • Provide high quality support to external customers and sales agents
  • Respond to customer inquiries received via telephone, email and fax in a professional, courteous and timely manner
  • Provide general office support and reception
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming calls in a welcoming and professional manner
  • Receive visitors by greeting and directing them to the appropriate employee
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail, deliveries and faxes
  • Perform work in a professional manner in alignment with the Chemco Brand

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years’ of customer service experience
  • 3 years’ of order processing or data-entry experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Experience working with NetSuite or similar ERP software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective time management
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic small office environment. ­­­­
